Since being on this keto/bulletproof wellness journey, I’ve been finding new way to incorporate MCT oil into my drinks! Sometimes it’s just a little too late for bulletproof coffee but just craving that warm cup of buttery goodness. Here’s a non caffeinated drink that will fit your craving (literary! Butter and MCT will help curb your appetite!)
Before people start sending me messages about honey in the ingredient list, let me preface that it is totally optional. Of course if you are on a strict ketogenic diet, you would avoid the sweetener, and use macadamia nut milk. Bulletproof diet permits raw honey in it’s light green category. It does taste better with honey, however, it still is totally tasty without.
Also in the photo below, I forgot to include vanilla. Which is again optional, does make it taste better. At the time of making this and taking photos of this drink, I completely forgot. Still taste amazing without it!

We love using Vietnamese Cinnamon from Frontier. It has this amazing flavor you wont find elsewhere. Did you know that most cinnamon found in the store is actually not cinnamon, but cassia? Keto Bulletproof Golden Milk Latte

- 1 Cup of Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy, for keto use macadamia nut milk)
- 1 TBL Grassfed Butter (We love using Kerrygold Grassfed Pure Irish Butter)
- 1 TBL MCT Oil
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
- 20 "Cracks" of Black Pepper
- Optional: 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- Optional: 1/2 tsp Raw Honey
Instructions
- Heat your milk in a sauce pan over low or medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure the milk is evenly heated. Careful not to burn your milk and cause a film to form.
- While milk is heating, combine all ingredients in your blender container.
- Pour your milk in container, blend for 10-30 seconds.
- Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
Notes
Due to the nature of the ingredients, separation and sediments is completely normal. Towards the end of the cup you might find some cinnamon sludge. I like to simply add some warm water into my cup, swirl it around and drink it. Why waste the cinnamon?
