Turmeric is amazing and has so many health benefits. It also happens to be in our daily supplements. There are so many benefits to Turmeric, I really think all of turmeric’s benefits can be summarized into these two things: anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

Inflammation is common, too common. Many of you are suffering from inflammation and you don’t even realize it. When our body is chronically inflamed, thats when we get chronic diseases, including the big C word. Cancer. Inflammation is not just the big bad things, even smaller and less severe things like having having acne on your skin is considered an inflammation. Any disease name that ends with -itis is an inflammation. When we reduce inflammation, our body stay in great shape, reduce pain, and we feel vibrant from the inside out. So be proactive and take turmeric regularly!

What is an antioxidant and why is that important? To understand that, you must first understand what oxidation do to our body. Oxidation is a natural process that happen in your body when a cell process or metabolizes the oxygen we breathe. However oxidation can also produce free radicals in your body. When our body is not in balance of the free radicals produces, that’s when we have oxidative stress. When our body is rampant of free radicals, thats when it can damage healthy cells. That’s why antioxidant is important to have in your body to help balance the oxidative stress.
